  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter optional
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or dill chopped

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the tray.
  4. Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.

Notes

  • Let the salmon rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before baking for even cooking.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy variation.
  • Fresh lemon juice enhances flavour better than bottled juice.
