- Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into small pieces.
- Place banana slices on a tray and freeze for at least 2–3 hours until solid.
- Add frozen bananas to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until crumbly, then add milk gradually to help blending.
- Continue blending until smooth and creamy like soft-serve ice cream.
- Add vanilla extract or optional add-ins if desired and blend briefly.
- Serve immediately for soft texture or freeze for 1–2 hours for firmer scoops.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness.
- Do not add too much liquid or the texture will become runny.
- Allow frozen ice cream to sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping if fully frozen.
- A food processor works best for achieving a creamy texture.
- Customize flavours with cocoa powder, berries, or nut butter.
