Ingredients
  

  • 4 corn tostada shells
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream or Mexican crema
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss shredded chicken with chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder.
  3. Spread refried beans evenly on each tostada shell.
  4. Top with seasoned chicken.
  5. Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and red onion.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 5–7 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Remove from oven and drizzle with sour cream.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a faster prep.
  • Customize toppings with avocado, jalapeños, or salsa.
  • Serve immediately to keep tostadas crispy.
