Ingredients
  

  • 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 115 g melted butter
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 90 g chocolate chips
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
  • Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
  • Optional: extra chocolate drizzle

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Add eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla; stir until smooth.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  6. Pour batter into the greased baking dish.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until set but slightly soft in center.
  8. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
  9. Optional: serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Do not overmix batter to keep it soft and fudgy.
  • Avoid overbaking for moist texture.
  • Use high-quality cocoa powder for best flavour.
  • Chocolate chips are highly recommended for extra gooeyness.
