Ingredients
  

  • 12 fresh jalapeños halved and deseeded
  • 200 g cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 12 slices bacon cut in halves
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Arrange on the baking tray and bake for 20–25 minutes until bacon is crispy and golden.
  6. Remove from oven, cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Remove all seeds for milder heat or leave a few for extra spice.
Use thick-cut bacon for extra crispiness.
You can prepare them ahead of time and refrigerate them before baking.
For extra crunch, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
