Ingredients
  

  • Ziti pasta 12 oz
  • Marinara sauce 3 cups
  • Ricotta cheese 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese shredded 2 cups
  • Parmesan cheese grated ½ cup
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Garlic minced 3 cloves
  • Italian seasoning 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Fresh basil chopped 2 tbsp

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook ziti in salted boiling water until just al dente, then drain.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe pan and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then simmer 3–4 minutes.
  5. Stir cooked ziti into the sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Dollop ricotta over pasta and gently swirl.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly on top.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Rest 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

Use whole-milk cheeses for the creamiest texture.
Undercook pasta slightly so it finishes perfectly in the oven.
Add cooked ground beef or sausage for a meaty version.
Store leftovers covered in the fridge up to 3 days.
