  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub olive oil evenly over the chicken pieces.
  4. Mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme in a small bowl.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken.
  6. Place chicken in the baking dish and drizzle with lemon juice if desired.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Marinate chicken for 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
Bone-in chicken may require additional cooking time.
