Ingredients
  

  • 450 g Italian sausage spicy or mild, your choice
  • 120 g fresh spinach or frozen, squeezed
  • 100 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 50 g parmesan cheese grated
  • 8 large eggs
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Wilt the spinach in the same skillet for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Whisk eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Combine sausage, spinach, and cheeses in a baking dish; pour the egg mixture on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until top is golden and eggs are set.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use a sharp knife for clean slices.
  • Can swap sausage for turkey or bacon.
  • Cheese varieties can be mixed as desired.
  • Fresh or frozen spinach works; just squeeze out water from frozen.
  • Add extra veggies like mushrooms or bell peppers for variety.
