Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers
  • ½ cup melted butter 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 2 cups blueberry pie filling or fresh blueberry compote
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries optional for topping.

Method
 

  1. Mix crushed cookies with melted butter and press firmly into a 9x13-inch dish
  2. chill 15 minutes
  3. beat cream cheese, powdered sugar
  4. and vanilla until smooth; fold in whipped topping
  5. spread evenly over chilled crust sealing edges
  6. spoon blueberry filling over cream layer
  7. top with fresh blueberries if using
  8. refrigerate at least 4 hours until fully set
  9. slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling; seal the cream layer to prevent blueberry seepage; chill overnight for clean slices; store covered in refrigerator up to 3 days; use homemade blueberry topping for fresher flavor.
