Ingredients
Method
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, pasta, and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and cover until melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
Recipe Notes:
You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Use cheddar or parmesan instead of mozzarella if preferred.
