Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 cups cornflakes
  • Optional: chocolate drizzle or chopped peanuts

Method
 

  1. Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.
  2. Melt butter and peanut butter together in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup, bring to gentle boil 1–2 minutes, remove from heat, add vanilla.
  4. Pour mixture over cornflakes in a large bowl and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Press coated cornflakes into prepared pan with spatula or wax paper.
  6. Optional: drizzle melted chocolate on top or sprinkle chopped peanuts.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  8. Slice into squares or bars and serve.

Notes

Press gently to maintain crunch.
Refrigerate thoroughly for best slicing.
Use fresh cornflakes for maximum crunch.
Chocolate drizzle is optional but adds a nice touch.
