Method
- Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.
- Melt butter and peanut butter together in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup, bring to gentle boil 1–2 minutes, remove from heat, add vanilla.
- Pour mixture over cornflakes in a large bowl and stir to coat evenly.
- Press coated cornflakes into prepared pan with spatula or wax paper.
- Optional: drizzle melted chocolate on top or sprinkle chopped peanuts.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Slice into squares or bars and serve.
Notes
Press gently to maintain crunch.
Refrigerate thoroughly for best slicing.
Use fresh cornflakes for maximum crunch.
