Ingredients
  

  • Preheat oven to 400°F 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out puff pastry slightly on a floured surface.
  • Brush melted butter over the pastry sheet.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the pastry.
  • Cut pastry into strips about 1-inch wide.
  • Twist each strip and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  • Bake 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

Do not let the puff pastry thaw too long, or it will be hard to handle.
