Ingredients

  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 –3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup finely chopped fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon optional

Method

  1. Trim crusts from bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries until smooth.
  3. Spread a thin layer of filling evenly over each bread slice.
  4. Roll each slice tightly into a log shape.
  5. Brush each roll with melted butter.
  6. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Roll each buttered log in the sugar mixture until coated.
  8. Place in a skillet over medium heat and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 6–8 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh, finely chopped strawberries for the best texture.
Do not overfill to prevent the rolls from opening while cooking.
Air fryer option: Cook at 375°F for 5–6 minutes until golden.
Serve with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, or extra fresh berries.
